Program Manager US-VA- Job ID 2020-1036 Type Regular Full-Time of Openings 1 Category Professional Stafford, VA Overview Scope Seeking a Program Manager to support and provide programproject management support of defense acquisition programs. The analyst will collect, organize, and analyze information required for program management reports briefings studies and analysis using general programproject management processesprinciples. In addition, the employee will provide technical expertise in areas relative to individual programs. Functional DutiesResponsibilities Provides overall program for single complex programs or multiple programsprojects. Directs successful performance for project transition, performance and completion, to achieve customer satisfaction to ensure expected results of programs within estimated timeframes and budget constraints. Schedules and assigns duties to programprojecttask managers and subcontractors on complex programs, and ensures assignments are completed as directed. Enforces work standards and reviewsresolves work discrepancies to ensure compliance with contract requirements. Interacts with client contracting officials, project officers, COTRs and task managers, subcontractors and other management personnel. Provides overall program management for assigned program or multiple programsprojects. Works with client to identify business requirements. Leads the team in initiating, planning, controlling, and executing the tasks of the program to produce deliverables. Directs performance of program to achieve customer satisfaction and to ensure expected results of programs within estimated schedule and budget constraints. Schedules and assigns duties to programproject and subcontractors and ensures assignments are completed as directed. Enforces work standards and reviewsresolves work discrepancies to ensure compliance with contract requirements. Analyzes new and complex project related problems and creates solutions involving finance, scheduling, technology, methodology, and tools. Interacts with client contracting officials, project officers, CORs, subcontractors, and other management personnel. Reports in writing and orally to contractor management and client representatives. Other duties as assigned Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor s degree or an equivalent combination of education and practical systems experience is required. Minimum Experience Requirements At least fifteen (15) years of experience which exhibit increasing levels of responsibility.
