Manage and expand our portfolio of corporate clients pitching, winning, servicing and building business
Provide direct strategic counsel to clients on corporate communications matters
Serve as a primary client relationship manager on several key accounts
Lead and participate in new business development efforts, guiding the development of winning proposals and presentations.
Maintain financial responsibility for accounts including forecasting and account profitability
Provide guidance and leadership to staff members, and ensure the teams success by managing work quality and productivity levels
Develop strategic, visionary plans for clients and communicate them compellingly with supporting recommendations and creative ideas
Foster and maintain relationships with internal agency partners
Drive learning and ongoing education with direct team and across agency through trend watching and general knowledge management
Commit to continuous learning and improvement of leadership skills; set and pursue stretch goals
Mentor, coach and support team members ensuring constant development of their skills
Understand key client industry issues relating to products, product categories, technologies, primary and potential competition and general issues facing the industry
Participate actively in the thought leadership of the corporate practice
Engage in the New York civic and communications community in order to build the profile of the firm

Bachelor s degree (MBA degree or other Masters degree preferred)
18+ years of experience in Corporate PR, agency experience strongly preferred
Needs to be experienced in financial communications, transactions, financial media relations
Must have a strong background in corporate communications, as well as crisis communications experience
Must have an in-depth knowledge of corporate reputation management, corporate citizenship/CSR and a working knowledge of the current media landscape.
Sector experience should include work in business-to-business settings, especially in the technology, healthcare and financial services areas
Excellent writing skills, solid presentation skills, experience developing and delivering client presentations, including new business
A history of success in providing sound creative and strategic counsel to clients and building credibility with senior level client contacts
Collaborative spirit, results driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work against deadlines
Demonstrate the ability to think strategically, creatively and holistically about client programs
Proven leadership experience, mentoring and developing a high performing team and taking them to the next level
