The Chartis Group is actively seeking an experienced Healthcare Technical Enterprise Architect to join our Informatics & Technology practice. Our Technical Enterprise Architect will be overseeing teams in a healthcare organization setting, leading our clients in technology strategy, planning, and implementations. This person will be responsible for overseeing the integrations of new or revised Networks, Servers/Storage, Data Centers, Service Desk & Support, End User Devices and Voice Services; 80% travel is expected for this role.


Lead consulting engagements, collaborating closely with other firm leaders to advise on activities from an IT perspective. This includes, but is not limited to: due diligence, future state design, work group facilitation, current state assessment, planning, program/project management, and post-integration activities.

Gather and document requirements and provide functional and technical designs.

Represents projects in executive level presentations in various project governance and interdepartmental forums, while being accountable for stakeholder identification and engagement throughout the project life cycle to ensure business readiness

Create overall strategy while engaging delivery partners within the Information Technology, Architecture, Analytics and Enterprise Security areas and Program Manage the Infrastructure Implementation.

Complete rebuild of the technology infrastructure, including the following:



Data Centers

Service Desk & Support

End User Devices

Voice Services

Oversee Client

Oversee Client Project Managers that will lead the assigned projects

Provide leadership and direction for project scope, technical design, build and go-live.

Successfully transition acquired hospitals and practices to the Client s standard technologies and processes

Accountable for driving project deliverables and compliance through the vendor contracting process for multiple vendors at a time; frequently participating in the process of new vendor/product selection

Provide critical thinking and advisory services and establish trust-based relationships with client leadership.

Introduce new service offerings to current clients while leveraging personal brand and existing relationships to introduce Chartis capabilities to potential new healthcare clients.

Collaborate with all management levels, both within the firm and with clients

Help define the talent required to support the firm s growth plans; play a lead role in recruiting, mentoring and developing the best consultants in the industry.

Qualifications & Desired Skills

Must have a minimum of 10+ years of technology consulting, or a combination of consulting and operations experience

Must have experience in the Healthcare Provider industry

Must be experienced in developing strategy and managing the technology portion of complex partnerships in a healthcare setting

Must have the competency, ability and willingness to deliver on final recommendations and findings

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and advanced skills with Word, PowerPoint, and MS Excel

Must have extensive knowledge of the healthcare landscape and current trends in healthcare

Must have a genuine passion for, and commitment to, the transformation of healthcare delivery in the world

Must have the ability to travel 80%

Advanced degree a plus (e.g., MBA, MHA, MPH)

Ability to contribute to or lead sales related efforts
